Feminist Festival

The 2025 edition of the Feminist Festival in Prato, dedicated to the memory of Giulia Cecchettin, enlivened the month of February with a dense network of events. Among the most attended moments were the Saturday talks at the Centro Pecci: Universo Queer with Vladimir Luxuria and Diego Passoni (February 8), Bruciamo tutto! on the theme of femicide (February 15), and Detenute invisibili on women's prison conditions.

The program alternated book presentations at the Lazzerini Library (Isa Borrelli with Gender is over, Angela Balzano with Eva Virale), workshops, self-defense and self-awareness courses, the stand-up comedy show Bambolotto by Maura Bloom, and social gatherings in Arci clubs, from Feminist Karaoke to the closing party. A festival built together with numerous local entities: Ipazia, Arcigay Prato-Pistoia, CGIL, ANPI, and the La Nara Anti-Violence Center.
