Feminism 8 — Political practices of inner life
The 2025 edition of the National Women's Publishing Fair brought together 68 independent publishers in Rome, in the Trastevere district, around the theme Political practices of inner life. The event's godmothers were psychoanalyst Manuela Fraire and writer Giulia Caminito.
The program offered six dialogues dedicated to spirituality, the relationship with media, the body and affections, awareness of conflict, and coexistence between cultures, as well as two focuses on self-consciousness and ecology. Four tributes remembered Luce d'Eramo, Marija Gimbutas, Susan Sontag, and Adriana Zarri, while the participating publishers curated numerous presentations of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. The day of Monday, March 3, was entirely reserved for meetings with schools.
