Feldthurner Kirchtag (Assumption Day)

The 2025 Kirchtag in Velturno

In the summer of 2025, the Feldthurner Kirchtag once again celebrated the patronal feast of Velturno (Feldthurns), in the Isarco Valley, around the day of the Assumption. In the morning, the community gathered for a solemn Mass and procession, accompanied by the parish choir and the Musikkapelle Feldthurns.

From 11:00 AM, the celebration continued in the gardens of Velturno Castle with the Frühschoppen, brass band concerts, and the participation of the village's youth ensembles, amidst South Tyrolean culinary specialties, beer, and wines from the Isarco Valley. A day of celebration that reaffirmed the Kirchtag tradition in the municipality of Velturno.
