Feldkapelle Anniversary

The 2025 edition of the Feldkapelle Anniversary confirmed a tradition established for over two decades in the Municipality of Fierozzo, in the Mòcheni Valley (Province of Trento).

The ceremony, organized by the Fierozzo Alpini Group, took place according to the usual rite: gathering in the village, wreath-laying at the war memorial, and the ascent to the Feldkapelle in Val Cava, at an altitude of 1,850 meters along the SAT E371 trail. At the chapel, Holy Mass was celebrated in suffrage of the fallen of all wars, followed by the flag-raising and a wreath-laying at the cross, accompanied by local choirs. As every year, the commemoration brought together Alpini, authorities, and Austrian delegations in a moment of memory and peace.
