February 17th — Waldensian Celebrations of Pomaretto / Inverso Pinasca

The 2025 edition of February 17th in the communities of Pomaretto and Inverso Pinasca followed the usual schedule. On February 16th at 7:30 PM, the gathering in front of the Pomaretto temple started the Sunday School torchlight procession and, at 8:00 PM, the lighting of the bonfire. On February 17th at 8:30 AM, the two processions set off from the Fleccia hamlet (Inverso Pinasca) and the Pomaretto temple, animated by the local marching bands. At 10:00 AM, the service was held at the Pomaretto temple, presided over by Pastor Elisabetta Ribet. Following this, at 12:30 PM, the community lunch took place at the Inverso Pinasca multipurpose hall, featuring a dessert buffet coordinated by Sandra Rizzi. In the evening, the Filodrammatica presented the show «Frammenti di memoria» at the Waldensian temple of Pomaretto.
