Edition 2025 — February 17th in Rorà
The 2025 edition of February 17th in Rorà, in the Pellice Valley (province of Turin), took place according to the tradition of the Waldensian Valleys. On the evening of Sunday, February 16th, participants met in front of the church at 8:15 PM, with the torchlight procession starting at 8:30 PM towards the sports field, where the bonfire of freedom was lit; this was followed by mulled wine and hot chocolate provided by the ANA.
On the morning of February 17th, at 10:00 AM, the service was held in the Waldensian church, led by Pastor Maria Bonafede with the participation of the Rorà Waldensian Choir. At 12:30 PM, the community lunch followed in the Waldensian hall.
Programme
February 16th — Bonfire
- 8:15 PM — Meeting at the church; 8:30 PM departure of the torchlight procession towards the sports field
- Lighting of the bonfire of freedom; followed by mulled wine and hot chocolate provided by the ANA
February 17th — Worship
- 10:00 AM — Service in the church with Pastor Maria Bonafede and the Rorà Waldensian Choir
