Feast of the Wild Man – The Spring Market

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Wild Man enlivened La Valle Agordina, in the Belluno Agordino area, on April 25th and 26th. On St. Mark's Day, the community brought to life the Dolomitic rite of the Wild Man: the construction of the corn and rags effigy over four meters high, its procession, and the burning at sunset, a symbolic gesture of liberation from negativity. Alongside, El Mercà de l'Insuda animated the hamlet of Conaggia with the artisan market, the 'cota' stand (potatoes and cheese), music, and entertainment, in a festival that preserves a precious intangible heritage of the Belluno Dolomites.
