Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary confirmed the strong bond of the small community of Docala with its religious tradition. As is customary, the day combined religious celebrations in honor of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary with the distribution of local products, in a simple and intimate atmosphere typical of mountain festivals in the Anzasca Valley, in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.

The festival drew village residents, families originally from the hamlet, and hikers to Docala, reaffirming the value of this summer event as a moment of meeting and remembrance for the valley's ancient settlement.
