Feast of the Patron Saint San Geminiano

The 2025 edition of the San Geminiano Festival in San Gimignano followed the traditional ritual. At 5:00 PM, the mayor received the institutional delegations from Modena and Pontremoli in the Sala di Dante, along with civil and military authorities and local associations. At 5:45 PM, the procession reached the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, where the solemn Eucharistic concelebration was held at 6:00 PM, featuring the offering of votive candles. Throughout the day, the squares of the historic center hosted the traditional fair, confirming the festival as one of the key identity-defining events for the town in the province of Siena.
