Edition 2025 — Feast of the Redeemer

On the second Sunday of July 2025, Palmanova celebrated its patron saint, the Most Holy Redeemer, with a solemn Mass in the Dogal Cathedral, the blessing of the Marcian gonfalon, and the re-enactment of the flag-raising in Venetian costume in Piazza Grande.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Most Holy Redeemer renewed Palmanova's patronal tradition: the solemn Mass in the Dogal Cathedral accompanied by city choirs, the blessing of the city and the Marcian gonfalon, and the re-enactment of the 1602 flag-raising with hundreds of participants in period costume in Piazza Grande.

The feast confirmed the strong intertwining of religious devotion, civic identity, and memory of the Serenissima that characterizes the star-shaped fortress, a UNESCO heritage site.
