Feast of the Most Holy Mary Bambina and the Dance of the Signoraccia

The 2025 edition of the Festivities for the Nativity of the Most Holy Mary Bambina inaugurated the Estate Sambuci format: a program lasting nearly a month, from August 14th to September 7th, 2025, organized by the Maria Bambina Festival Committee under the patronage of the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Sambuci. On Ferragosto, Piazza Roma hosted the comedy evening of Martufello, the Renato Zero tribute by Daniele Si Nasce, and the musical show by Agostino Penna; at the end of August, the festival moved to Villa Theodoli with a concert by Los Locos, DJ sets, the recital «Un amore così grande» by Manuela Villa, and the Roman folk-rock of L'Orchestraccia. September brought the rock'n'roll of The Fuzzy Dice, the comedy of Dado, and, on Saturday the 6th, the headline concert by Anna Tatangelo. The grand finale took place on Sunday, September 7th, in Piazza Roma: 90s dance music by I 90 Mania and, at 10:00 PM, the traditional Dance of the Signoraccia with the burning of the large papier-mâché puppet to close the festivities.
