Feast of the Madonna di Custonaci

The 274th edition of the Feast of the Madonna di Custonaci was held from August 18th to 27th, 2025, with additional events in September. The chosen theme was «Mary, Source of Joy». As it was a jubilee year, the Sanctuary of Custonaci was designated a jubilee church by the Bishop of Trapani, allowing pilgrims to obtain a plenary indulgence.

The days were marked by morning prayers, confessions, the recitation of the rosary, and Eucharistic celebrations. On August 24th, the main celebration took place with the Bishop's mass and the 33rd International Folklore Meeting, featuring groups from Colombia, Mexico, and Sicily, accompanied by the distribution of local products. On August 25th, the evocative evening re-enactment of the arrival of the painting at Cala Buguto took place, followed by the torchlight procession. On August 27th, the solemn town procession was held, concluding with a fireworks display in the Tribili area.
