Feast of the Madonna del Rosario

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the village of Allume once again renewed its devotion to the Madonna del Rosario, patron saint of Roccalumera, on the first Sunday of October. The celebrations were concentrated in the Mother Church of Santa Maria del Rosario, with morning masses and the Supplication recited at noon.

In the afternoon, the wooden statue of the Virgin was carried on shoulders in a procession through the village streets, adorned with drapes and flags, amidst fireworks and the participation of the community, including emigrants who returned for the occasion. The feast confirmed its role as the town's main identity-defining event.
