Feast of the Madonna del Conforto

In 2025, the Feast of the Madonna del Conforto renewed the deep devotion of Arezzo to its patron saint, with solemn celebrations in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Donatus. The day of February 15th opened at dawn, at 6:00 AM, with Lauds and the first Holy Mass, while the central moment was the 10:30 AM Pontifical Mass.

In the afternoon, the meditated Rosary (from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM) and Second Vespers at 5:00 PM followed, with additional Masses throughout the day. The cathedral remained packed with faithful who arrived from the entire diocese of Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro, in a day that represents one of the most cherished moments of Arezzo's religious and civic identity every year.
