Edition 2025 — Immacolata of Termini Imerese
The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in Termini Imerese (province of Palermo) took place on December 8, 2025, renewing a tradition dating back to the city's 1624 vow.
The day was marked by the three solemn processions: the dawn procession with the Madonna of the Snow, which departed from the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Consolazione; the midday procession with the cypress wood statue carved in 1799 by Francesco Quattrocchi; and the afternoon procession from the Porta Palermo area toward the Capuchins. Eight days later, the processions were repeated in reverse to return the statues to their original churches. The tradition of favazza, enjoyed on the eve of the night procession, was also observed.
