Feast of the Immaculate Conception

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception confirmed the deep participation of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia in the devotion to its patron saint. Preceded by the triduum, the outdoor festival reached its climax on the last Sunday of July: the noon floral tribute to the statue placed on the bell tower of the Mother Church, the afternoon solemn Pontifical Mass, and the procession of the artistic fercolo bearing the statue of the Madonna along the traditional town route. The brass band accompanied the parade, while the day concluded with fireworks, renewing a ritual that has united the entire community of the Catanese town for generations.
