Edition 2025 — Feast of the Holy Thorn
The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Holy Thorn renewed in San Giovanni Bianco one of the oldest traditions of the Brembana Valley, linked to the relic of Christ's Crown kept in the village since 1495. As usual, the festival took place on Passion Sunday, preceded by the novena.
The historical processions with flag-wavers, the solemn opening of the tabernacle, and the veneration of the Thorn marked the days, accompanied by vigil bonfires, fireworks, and the festive atmosphere created by the funfair and stalls. An event that annually draws thousands of faithful and visitors to the village.
