Feast of the Holy Crucifix and Our Lady of Miracles (Patrons of Caltabellotta)

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Holy Crucifix and Our Lady of Miracles in Caltabellotta (AG) took place between July 21 and 30, with the climax on July 26 and 27. The dressing of the venerated Patrons followed the arrival of the golden treasure carried in the Prucissioni di l'oru.

On Sunday, the Scinnuta di la Madonna and the procession of the statues through the historic center took place, leading to the most awaited moment: Lu ncontru, the evening Meeting between the Madonna and the Crucifix in the square, accompanied by fireworks and the traditional challenge between the city's two brass bands. Bands, drum groups, and popular festivities enlivened the entire week, confirming the festival as the most deeply felt identity-defining event of the Sicani village.
