Edition 2025 — Feast of the Assumption

In 2025, Macchia Valfortore celebrated the Madonna Assunta during Ferragosto, with a visit to the Antico Mulino Di Iorio on August 14th, in a program of events also aimed at citizens who have emigrated abroad, between Marian devotion and remembrance of roots.

The 2025 edition of the celebrations for the Madonna Assunta confirmed the centrality of this event in the calendar of Macchia Valfortore. Alongside the Marian feast on August 15th, the visit to the Antico Mulino Di Iorio took place on August 14th, a moment to promote the historical heritage of the village in the Fortore valley, particularly appreciated by fellow citizens returning from abroad for Ferragosto.

August 14th: visit to the Antico Mulino Di Iorio. August 15th-16th: Feast of the Madonna Assunta with liturgical celebrations and festivities.
