Edition 2025 — Feast of the Ascension
In 2025, the Feast of the Ascension once again renewed the millennial rite of the Wedding of the Sea. The water procession, led by the Serenissima galley, crossed St. Mark's Basin to the Lido Port Channel, where the ring was cast into the waters in front of the Church of San Nicolò. The morning featured regattas for young people, women, and men on the typical lagoon boats, while the religious celebration of the Ascension concluded the day.
