Edition 2025 — Patron Saint Festival of Ciciliano

In August 2025, Ciciliano celebrated its patron saints Santa Liberata, San Magno, and San Rocco as it does every year. The days of August 18th and 19th featured solemn masses and processions through the streets of the historic center, with the participation of the community and local authorities. The traditional Procession of the Zitelle, the heart and identity of the festival dedicated to Santa Liberata, was also held.

2025 Edition

The patron saint festival of Ciciliano took place in 2025 during the usual mid-August days, confirming the vitality of a tradition deeply rooted in the community of the Monti Prenestini, in the province of Rome. The celebrations in honor of Santa Liberata, San Magno, and San Rocco brought together residents and visitors for religious services, processions, and moments of popular celebration.

At the heart of the celebrations was the Procession of the Zitelle, with young women dressed in white in memory of the seven sisters of Santa Liberata, and the solemn procession of San Magno, the village's ancient patron, along the streets of the historic center.
