Edition 2025 — San Calogero u Poviru

On January 11, 2025, Campofranco celebrated the Feast of San Calogero "u Poviru," the winter recurrence that remembers the 1693 earthquake. The day took place according to tradition, with a solemn mass at the Church of San Francesco and a procession of the Saint's statue through the historic center, in an atmosphere of intense popular devotion documented by photographs shared by local reporters.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of San Calogero "u Poviru" was held regularly on January 11, 2025, in Campofranco, in the Province of Caltanissetta. Faithful to the tradition born from the 1693 vow, the community renewed its thanks to the hermit Saint, the town's protector.

The day unfolded with the usual moments: the solemn mass at the Church of San Francesco and the procession of the statue through the streets of the historic center.
