Feast of San Calogero and Pilgrimage to Monte Kronio

The 2025 edition of the Feast of San Calogero in Sciacca revived the ancient rite of the pilgrimage to Monte Kronio, with the faithful climbing, many of them barefoot, from the city center to the sanctuary. The calendar included the evening pilgrimage departing from the Mother Church, continuous adoration in the Saint's cave, Eucharistic celebrations, and the procession of relics.

The solemnity of the Saint, traditionally set for the days around mid-June, attracted numerous pilgrims from across the province of Agrigento. In 2025, the festival once again confirmed the strength of a devotion that spans centuries and remains one of the deepest identity traits of the Municipality of Sciacca.
