Feast of Saints Fabian and Sebastian

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Rancio Valcuvia followed the usual religious tradition of the small municipality in Valcuvia. The community gathered on the last Sunday of January for the solemn Mass in honor of Saints Fabian and Sebastian, followed by the Rosary and the procession through the village streets with the band. This is a celebration that for centuries has combined devotion to the patrons — to whom protection from the plague is attributed — and the sense of belonging of a Prealpine village in the Province of Varese.
