Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian

In 2025, the Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Terlizzi confirmed its strength as a collective ritual. The novena opened the festivities starting in mid-September, with Masses and moments of prayer in the church of the Santi Medici. During the final weekend, morning firecracker salutes announced the feast, while the "Antonio Gisonda" Band and the "Amici della Musica T. Marinelli" ensemble enlivened the town streets.

The most anticipated moment was the procession of the sacred effigies of Saints Cosmas and Damian, which left on Sunday afternoon and were accompanied back to the church in the evening amidst the participation of thousands of faithful. The fireworks display near Via Piave and the singing of the Te Deum sealed the edition, organized as always by the Confraternity of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Santi Medici.
