Feast of the Medici Saints 2025 in Carbonara di Nola

In 2025, the community of Carbonara di Nola, in the province of Naples, celebrated its patronal feast in honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian from September 17th to 26th. The preparatory novena, from September 17th to 25th, accompanied the faithful each evening with the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM and Holy Mass at 7:00 PM.

The solemnity of September 26th represented the heart of the festivities: Holy Masses were held from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the solemn concelebration at 10:30 AM presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe. In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, the procession accompanied the sacred statues of the Saints along the town streets, with the final celebration in the Sanctuary Square officiated by Msgr. Pasquale Capasso, Vicar General of the Diocese of Nola.

Novena from September 17th to 25th with the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM and Holy Mass at 7:00 PM. Friday, September 26th, solemnity: Holy Masses at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:30 AM, and 12:00 PM; at 10:30 AM the solemn concelebration presided over by Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe; at 4:00 PM the procession of the statues of the Medici Saints through the town streets, with the final celebration in the Sanctuary Square officiated by Msgr.
