Edition 2025 — Saints Cosmas and Damian and Gourmet Festival

The 20th edition, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025, was postponed to Saturday, October 11, 2025, due to bad weather. A full day of devotion and celebration: from morning masses to the procession of the Saints Cosmas and Damian statues, followed by the Gourmet Festival and evening concerts in Piazza Umberto I.

The 20th edition, October 11, 2025

In Veglie, the 2025 Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian was marked by a postponement: the celebrations and the twentieth Gourmet Festival, originally planned for October 5, were moved to Saturday, October 11 due to adverse weather conditions. The day began with an 8:00 AM Mass and the opening of the fair at 9:00 AM, accompanied by the "A. Regno" Grand Concert Band of Veglie, conducted by Maestro Cosimo Costa, and the Salento Street Band.

In the afternoon, at 5:30 PM, the Solemn Mass at the Mother Church preceded the 6:30 PM procession with the statues of the Saints, accompanied by the "A. Regno" City of Veglie Band. In the evening, starting at 8:00 PM, Piazza Umberto I hosted the Gourmet Festival with typical Salento flavors, followed at 8:30 PM by a concert by "Ritmo Binario".

Saturday, October 11, 2025 (date postponed from October 5 due to bad weather): 8:00 AM Holy Mass; 9:00 AM opening of the fair with the "A. Regno" Grand Concert Band of Veglie conducted by Maestro Cosimo Costa and the Salento Street Band; 5:30 PM Solemn Holy Mass at the Mother Church; 6:30 PM procession with the statues of the Saints accompanied by the "A. Regno" City of Veglie Band; 8:00 PM in Piazza Umberto I: 20th Gourmet Festival; 8:30 PM concert by "Ritmo Binario".

Prices

Free admission to the performances in the square. Food and drinks at the food stalls are available for purchase.
