Edition 2025 — Saint Stephen Aci Bonaccorsi
2025 Edition: The 25th Anniversary
The winter edition on December 26, 2025, celebrated the 25th anniversary of Saint Stephen as the patron saint of Aci Bonaccorsi, a milestone that added even more solemnity to the festival. The local community gathered around the precious 16th-century statue housed in the Mother Church of Santa Maria dell'Indirizzo.
The day followed tradition: the unveiling of the Saint, the Solemn Pontifical Mass, the procession with the statue and the relic through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by hymns and prayers, and the fireworks provided by the two historic districts, Piazza and Battiati, in a blend of tradition and faith that renews itself over time.
