Feast of Saint Roch (Co-Patron)

The 2025 Feast of Saint Roch in Pietraperzia (EN) took place on August 16th, according to the uninterrupted tradition of the co-patron. After the day's liturgies, the evening featured the procession of the statue placed on the float, which departed from the Church of Saint Roch and wound through Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the brass band.

The feast, located at the height of the Ferragosto celebrations in the town of the Enna hinterland, confirmed the strong popular devotion to the pilgrim Saint, a protector invoked against the plague, whose presence in Pietraperzia dates back to the 17th century.
