Feast of Saint Philip the Apostle

The 2025 edition followed the traditional calendar. On April 24, at 16:30, the community pilgrimage along the SS 288 started from the Bellia crucifix. The eve of Sunday, April 30, saw the church open in the morning with the festive ringing of bells, hourly Eucharistic celebrations, the solemn exposition of the relics at 12:00, and the liturgy presided over by the parish priest at midnight, with the sanctuary remaining open all night. On May 1st, from 06:00, celebrations followed one another every hour until the great Pontifical Mass presided over by Cardinal Baldo Reina, and at 13:00, the procession of Saint Philip the Apostle and his relics through the streets of Aidone. The closing took place on June 1st with the Night of the Sanctuaries.
