Feast of Saint Peter of the Celestines

The Festivities of Saint Peter of the Celestines in 2025 followed the usual pattern in Isernia on May 19th: the preparatory novena, the solemn Pontifical Mass presided over by Bishop Camillo Cibotti in the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle, and the procession with the saint's statue through Corso Marcelli, Piazza Celestino V, and the streets of the historic center.

As every year, the religious celebration intertwined with the traditional fair: the stalls set up in the historic center filled the heart of the Pentro capital with music and colors, with great participation from the faithful and visitors.

The 2025 calendar followed the usual structure: novena from May 10th to 18th, procession and Pontifical Mass by Bishop Camillo Cibotti on May 19th, and a fair with stalls in the historic center.
