Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Paolino
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Paolino of Nola confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old tradition in Mongiuffi Melia. On June 22nd, the statue, transferred the previous day from the church of San Leonardo to the Mother Church, was carried in procession through the village districts, with a stop in the Lampeli district and the traditional Miracoli in the square.
On the first Sunday of August, the most spectacular festivities took place, with the procession towards the countryside and the Deri district, an ancient threshing floor where wheat was once threshed, to invoke the saint's protection over the crops. The day ended with the evening Trasuta, the moment most awaited by the community, in the San Nicolò square crowded with devotees and bearers.
