Edition 2025 — Saint Onuphrius

In 2025, Chiauci celebrated Saint Onuphrius on June 11th with the traditional procession from the Church of San Giovanni to the hermitage nestled in the woods. A path of about three kilometers between nature and devotion, which drew the community of the Alto Molise village in one of the year's most evocative rites.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Onuphrius renewed one of Chiauci's most beloved rites. On June 11th, the community accompanied the saint's statue in procession from the Church of San Giovanni to the hermitage in the woods, along a path of about three kilometers. The feast combines the spiritual dimension with the beauty of the Alto Molise landscape, in a territory protected by the MAB UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. As tradition dictates, the statue was then returned to the village on August 16th with a second procession.
