Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Nicholas

In 2025, Cammarata also celebrated its patron saint, San Nicolò, and the Immaculate Conception from December 6th to 8th. On December 6th, after the morning mass at the Mother Church, the Mayor offered a floral tribute to the saint; this was followed by Solemn Mass and the evening procession of the wooden bust through the historic center. The festival continued with the "Scinnuta" of the Immaculate Conception and the verses of the Ninnaredda played by the band, leading up to the dawn pilgrimage on December 8th from the church of Santa Maria to the Mother Church for the dawn mass.

The 2025 edition took place according to the usual Cammarata tradition. On December 6th, the patron saint's day, the festival began with morning mass at the Mother Church; in the afternoon, the Mayor and the citizens paid floral tribute to San Nicolò with a procession from Palazzo Trajna, followed by Solemn Mass and the evocative evening procession of the saint's gilded wooden bust through the streets of the historic center.

Once the statue was returned to the church, the traditional "Scinnuta d'Ammaculata" took place: the statue of the Immaculate Conception was carried in procession along the nave to the churchyard, while the brass band played the ancient Ninnaredda. On December 8th, at the first light of dawn, the pilgrimage departed from the church of Santa Maria toward the Mother Church for the dawn mass, according to the saying "Acchiana Cola, scinni Maria".
