Edition 2025 — May Saint Michael
The 2025 edition reaffirmed Terlizzi's deep bond with its patron saint, venerated in the city since the Middle Ages. The festivities, organized by the Pro Loco UNPLI Terlizzi and local parish entities, re-proposed the rites of Michaelic devotion around the Chiesetta della Natività, the "Chisiòdd" on Via Massimo D'Azeglio. The most solemn moment was the Eucharistic celebration on May 8th at the Church of the SS. Medici, presided over by Monsignor Felice Di Molfetta, bishop emeritus of the Diocese. The memory of the ancient penitential pilgrimage towards Monte Sant'Angelo and the tradition of the Feather, the symbolic heart of the Terlizzi festival, were also highlighted.
Programme
The 2025 festival was spread over the usual four days of celebrations between the Chiesetta della Natività and the city churches. The culmination was on Thursday, May 8th, at 6:30 PM, with the solemn Eucharistic celebration at the Church of the SS. Medici presided over by H.E. Monsignor Felice Di Molfetta, bishop emeritus, followed by the procession and traditional popular festivities.
