Feast of Saint Maurus the Abbot (Winter Edition)

On January 15, 2025, San Mauro Castelverde celebrated its patron saint, Saint Maurus the Abbot, during the winter liturgical feast. The program included at 4:30 PM a performance in the historic center by the "L'Eremo" brass band, at 5:00 PM mass in the church of Saint Maurus the Abbot, at 6:00 PM the procession with the reliquary of Saint Maurus the Abbot known as "u Nicu" through the village streets, and at 9:30 PM a musical show at the Salone Badia. A day of faith and conviviality for citizens and visitors, in anticipation of the great summer festival in July.
