Feast of Saint Mauro and Saint Nicholas of Bari

Sunday, May 4 — Saint Mauro

The day dedicated to Saint Mauro opened at 8:00 AM with the traditional fair and the questua through the districts and the village, accompanied by the "Città di Gissi" Band. At 7:00 PM, Holy Mass was held in honor of Saint Mauro with the blessing of the San Nicola taralli, followed at 9:00 PM by a concert from the show orchestra Tequila & Montepulciano Band.

Monday, May 5 — Saint Nicholas

The patron saint's day began at 8:00 AM with the questua through the village streets and the band. At 11:30 AM, the Solemn Holy Mass in honor of Saint Nicholas took place, followed by the Solemn Procession and fireworks. At 5:00 PM, the characteristic riffa was held, the public auction of the decorated conche. In the evening, at 9:00 PM, the Grand Band Concert of the City of Gissi and the final fireworks display by the "Piro" company took place.
