Edition 2025 — Saint Mark

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Mark was celebrated on April 25th with a solemn mass in the Basilica presided over by the Patriarch, a historical costume procession, the distribution of bòcoli, and cultural events in St. Mark's Square.

In 2025, Venice also celebrated its patron saint, Saint Mark, on April 25th. The solemn mass in the Basilica, presided over by the Patriarch, and the solemn evening vespers marked the religious dimension of the day, while in St. Mark's Square, the historical costume procession and the distribution of bòcoli by the Red Cross took place. The tradition of the red rosebud given to lovers confirmed the civil, religious, and popular character of the festival.
