Feast of Saint Leonard Abbot (Patron Saint of Panza)

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Leonard Abbot in Panza, a village in Forio (Ischia), was held from November 1st to 6th, featuring a rich program of faith, culture, and popular festivities. The opening on Saturday, November 1st, in Piazza San Leonardo, featured a concert by "I Cugini di Campagna". The following days included a theatrical performance by the Compagnia San Leonardo, a testimony by Salvatore Martinez, and a meeting with magistrate Catello Maresca on justice and peace.

The solemn day of November 6th included holy masses, a community lunch along Via Parroco L. D'Abundo, a solemn mass presided over by Monsignor Lucio Lemmo, and the procession through the streets of the district with the "Aurora" band. In the evening, amidst the ringing of bells and festive illuminations, the festival concluded with the pyromusical show in Piazza San Leonardo.

Wednesday, November 5th, 5:00 PM, Auditorium: meeting with magistrate Catello Maresca, "Ideas of justice for a community that witnesses and spreads peace". Thursday, November 6th (Solemnity of Saint Leonard): holy masses, community lunch along Via Parroco L. D'Abundo, solemn mass presided over by Monsignor Lucio Lemmo, procession with the "Aurora" band, bell concert, illuminations, and final pyromusical show in Piazza San Leonardo.
