Edition 2025 — Saint Leoluca
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Leoluca the Abbot was celebrated on March 1st in Corleone, in the Province of Palermo, confirming the strong bond between the city and its patron saint and protector against earthquakes. The day featured religious services in the parish dedicated to the Saint and the solemn Eucharistic concelebration, the central moment of Corleonese devotion.
In the evening, the statue of Saint Leoluca was carried in procession through the streets of the historic center: as it passed, the luminiane were lit, the traditional wood bonfires that evoke the Saint's famous miracle. A festival of faith and popular identity that brings the entire community of Corleone together every year.
