Feast of Saint Joseph the Patriarch 2025
From March 18 to 20, 2025, Nardò celebrated the Feast of Saint Joseph the Patriarch, a religious and popular event organized by the Confraternity of Saint Joseph the Patriarch with the patronage of the Municipality of Nardò.
The religious program was preceded by the novena, with the recitation of the rosary, litanies, and mass. On Monday, March 18, at 7:00 PM, the procession departed from the church dedicated to the Saint in the historic center. On Tuesday the 19th, the day of Saint Joseph, holy masses were held, including one presided over by the Bishop of Nardò-Gallipoli. On March 20, at 11:00 AM, the Terra d'Arneo Grand Band Concert performed in Piazza San Giuseppe.
On the civil side, the festivities were concentrated on March 18 and 19 with the 21st edition of the Zeppole Festival in front of the church, while carnival rides were set up on Via Aldo Moro. For the little ones, entertainment moments with Baby Party mascots made the festival a great event for the whole family.
