Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint John
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint John followed the usual program of rituals and traditions in the historic center of Florence. The day of June 24th opened at 8:30 AM with the Procession of Tributes, which departed from the new headquarters of the Società di San Giovanni Battista in Piazza de' Peruzzi and concluded in Piazza della Signoria around 10:00 AM.
In the afternoon, the Rowing Palio took place on the Lungarno Anna Maria de' Medici and, at 6:00 PM, the final of the Calcio Storico Fiorentino in Piazza Santa Croce, which saw the Rossi of Santa Maria Novella face the Verdi of San Giovanni. In the evening, at 10:00 PM, the traditional Fireworks from Piazzale Michelangelo closed the festivities.
