The 2025 edition
The 2025 Feast of Saint John the Baptist confirmed the strong bond between Castelvetrano and its patron saint. During the days of the festivities, the historic center hosted religious celebrations, cultural moments, and the highly anticipated historical re-enactment by the La Perla Imperiale association, featuring living tableaux dedicated to the life of the Baptist and local devotion.
As per tradition, on June 24, the Mayor symbolically handed over the city keys to the patron saint, followed by the solemn procession of the marble statue created by Antonello Gagini in 1522. The festival combined faith, historical memory, and popular participation, enlivening the squares of the Trapani municipality.
