Edition 2025 — Saint Giusta

In 2025, Castelbottaccio also celebrated the Feast of Saint Giusta at the end of August, with the traditional torchlight procession towards the rural chapel and religious rites in honor of the saint, a central event of the summer in the village in the province of Campobasso.

The Feast of Saint Giusta is a consolidated tradition in Castelbottaccio, renewed every year at the end of August. In 2025, the village of Basso Molise revived the evocative torchlight procession towards the rural chapel dedicated to the saint, accompanied by religious rites and the procession.

The feast, part of the Castelbottaccio summer, represented a moment of strong devotion and community gathering, with local gastronomic specialties as a backdrop.
