Feast of Saint Costanzo

In 2025 too, on January 29th, Perugia honored its patron saint Saint Costanzo with the usual program of sacred and profane events. The holy masses in the Basilica of Saint Costanzo, the Fair along Borgo XX Giugno, and the tasting of the Torcolo—the donut-shaped cake linked to the legend of the Saint's martyrdom—marked a day of strong civic identity, concluding with the solemn Eucharistic celebration in the Cathedral. An event that, for centuries, has opened the calendar of Perugia's festivals.

2025 Edition (January 29): Holy masses in the Basilica of Saint Costanzo, Great Fair along Borgo XX Giugno, tasting of the Torcolo di San Costanzo in the historic center, and solemn Eucharistic celebration in the Cathedral.
