Feast of Saint Ciro, Co-Patron Saint

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Ciro took place in Villa Castelli from Thursday, February 6 to Sunday, February 9. The festivities began on February 6 with the triduum of prayer and continued on the 7th with the welcoming of the saint's relics and a holy mass. On Saturday, February 8, after the solemn mass presided over by Father Eligio Grimaldi, the highly anticipated lighting of the Focara took place at 8:30 PM on Via Kalivia, featuring a fireworks display, a musical tour by the "Città di Villa Castelli" Band, and a tribute by the Cantori di Villa Castelli. Sunday, February 9, featured solemn masses and, at 11:00 AM, the procession with the blessing of doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers in Piazza Municipio.

• 5:30 PM — Welcoming of the relics of Saint Ciro
• 6:00 PM — Holy Mass

Saturday, February 8

• 7:00 PM — Solemn Holy Mass presided over by Father Eligio Grimaldi (parish priest of the Collegiate Church of Maria SS. Assunta in Grottaglie)
• 8:30 PM — Lighting of the Focara on Via Kalivia (Madre Teresa di Calcutta Park) with fireworks display
• Musical tour by the "Città di Villa Castelli" Band

Sunday, February 9
