Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Christopher
The 2025 Feast of Saint Christopher was celebrated from July 24th to 26th in the San Cristoforo district of Catania, Sicily, with the central moment on July 25th, the patron saint's day. The celebrations were concentrated around the San Cristoforo alle Sciare parish on Via Plebiscito.
The program included Eucharistic celebrations, the procession of the statue of Saint Christopher through the streets of the district, and the customary blessing of vehicles, a characteristic ritual linked to the saint who protects travelers. The three days confirmed the identity value of the festival for the community of one of the historic and working-class neighborhoods of the Etnean city, renewing a tradition alive since 1951.
