Edition 2025 — Saint Bassus

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Bassus was celebrated on Easter Monday, April 21st, returning in grand style after several years. The day combined religious services with a popular festival, featuring a solemn procession towards the sea presided over by the Bishop, a prize raffle in Piazza della Libertà, the opening of the Nazzareno Tomassini Museum, musical performances, comedy and magic shows, illuminations, and fireworks along the center and seafront of Cupra Marittima.

2025 Edition

The Feast of Saint Bassus 2025 took place on Monday, April 21st, Easter Monday. In the parish church of San Basso, Holy Masses were celebrated at 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 6:00 PM; at 10:15 AM, the solemn procession towards the sea with the Saint's relic, presided over by the Bishop, for the blessing of the waters.

The civil program, starting from Sunday, April 20th, included a prize raffle in Piazza della Libertà, the opening of the Nazzareno Tomassini Museum, and the "Pop World" exhibition in the church of Sant'Egidio. The town center and seafront were illuminated with traditional lights and fireworks, accompanied by musical performances, comedy, magic, gastronomic and craft stalls, and games for children.
