Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

In 2025, the community of Squinzano, in the province of Lecce, celebrated Saint Anthony of Padua with the evening tredicina at the mother church of San Nicola. On June 12th, Piazza San Nicola hosted the 'Salento's Got Talent' show, hosted by Pierluigi Pinto and Carla Dell'Anna, featuring singers, dancers, and amateur artists judged by a jury. On June 13th, the Saint's feast day, masses were celebrated with the blessing of the bread at Mater Domini (18:30) and the mother church (19:00), followed by the 20:00 procession with the 'Città di Squinzano' band along Via Diaz, Via Trieste, Via Matteotti, and other central streets, concluding with the tribute to the Saint at 20:45 in Piazza San Nicola.
