Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Roccalumera followed the usual devotional calendar: the tredicina of preparation, the eve of June 12th with the blessing of children and Saint Anthony's bread, and June 13th dedicated to the co-patron. After the masses and the solemn Eucharistic celebration in the afternoon, the Saint's statue was carried in procession along Via Umberto I, crossing the entire town accompanied by the brass band. There was no shortage of the raffle of the thirteen gifts and the moments of secular celebration that animate the Roccalumera seafront every year.
